Marquee/Structures & Equipment Hire

PLEASE NOTE !!

National Guidelines state that all temporary structures must meet the AS/NZS codes: 1170, 1170.1, 1170.2

• Only Commercial grade tents/structures are permitted on Site.
• All tent/structures must be weighted, for extreme weather conditions, with sandbags or weights to specifications stated by the manufacturer of your tent/structure.
• No Tarpaulins, garden gazabos, or make shift structures of any kind will be permitted
• A copy of the wind rating specification of your structure must be available for viewing if required.
• If your tent/structure does not meet the above requirements, you will need to hire an approved tent/structure from a reputable Hire Company, who can provide evidence of the above requirements

They are commonly referred to by these names so to avoid confusion and disappointment when you order them make sure you familiarize yourself with them and their specifications.

FETE STALLS

2.4m x 2.4m with three tables built around the outside.

You serve from within and the public can walk around them providing the event allows a space for that - worth making sure when you order this. Great for gifts and jewellery etc. Not suitable for clothes unless you are folding them on the table.

 

 

 

 

 

POP-UPS

Various sizes from 3 x 3 upwards.

Freestanding Pop Up Marquee, A cheaper alternative to the Hokker, Side walls can be installed to your requirements.  They are generally white vinyl allowing more light through (when white) and give a fresh feeling to the stall.  

It can be pegged on grass or weighted if installed on hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt.  Please note Pop Up Marquees are not suitable for use in high wind areas or storm conditions, because they are not as strong in adverse conditions depending upon the supplier. 

 

 

HOKKER

Various sizes from 3 x 3 upwards.

These usually come with 3 to 4 walls and the public can walk inside. These are preferred by clothing stalls as they can accommodate racking/change rooms etc. There is usually no problem with these in adverse weather conditions.

 

 

PAGODAS

Various sizes from 3 x 3 upwards.

These present better than the standard hokker giving a more bohemian feeling. You can drape cloth from the center to create the feel of a harem tent.

Power Leads

It is a requirement that stallholders supply their own leads, not less than 10m in length, they must be tagged by a licensed electrician. 

Spare Leads are available on Site for a hire fee, if required contact the on-site stalls co-ordinator
